Does your research include any type of IRB-approved study (not just clinical trials)? You may want to check out ResearchMatch.
What is ResearchMatch?
ResearchMatch is a registry that was created through collaborations between the Clinical & Translational Science Awards (CTSA) Consortium and funded by the National Center for Research Resources – a component of the National Institute of Health. The registry is hosted at Vanderbilt University. It is secure and free for any participating site & their researchers. There are currently 96 participating institutions and 34 partner organizations. Click here to determine if your institution is a participating site.
What is ResearchMatch’s goal?
ResearchMatch has a simple goal – to bring together two groups of people who are looking for one another:
- people who are trying to find research studies
- researchers who are looking for people to participate in their studies
What does this mean for researchers?
Per ResearchMatch’s website, “You will have access to thousands of volunteers who may meet the criteria you need for your studies. More and more volunteers join every day so the chances of making a positive match become greater and the timeline to discovery gets shorter.”
