VassarStats: ROC Curve Analysis

Richard Lowry, Ph.D., Professor of Psychology Emeritus from Vassar College has created a site dedicated to the free dissemination of statistical resources. Its various computational components are programmed entirely in JavaScript   All calculations are performed within your browser. The best web browsers for using this site are Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.  Internet Explorer is not recommended.  Explorer will not respond to some of the programming on this site unless you modify the browser’s security settings.

Simple ROC Curve Analysis. The programming for this unit provides a streamlined approach to ROC curve analysis.  For the more heavy-duty version of this procedure, applicable software can be downloaded from the Department of Radiology, Kurt Rossmann Laboratories, University of Chicago.

Significance of the Difference between the Areas under Two Independent ROC Curves. For two ROC curves derived from independent samples, this calculator will assess the significance of the difference between the areas that lie under the curves.
